The AASAT Partners Recovery Training Course helps you understand partners of sex addicts and intimacy anorexics and help them heal from the addiction in their relationship. This course is 31 hours long and is geared for counseling professionals, coaches, and ministry partners who are interested in becoming certified in the field of partner’s treatment. Partners recovery is one of the least understood concepts of addiction therapy and not many addiction counselors even acknowledge it.
Parters of sex addicts and intimacy anorexics are often devastated after they learn that their partner or spouse is addicted. This training combines academic research from the top authors in the field of sexual addiction with clinical best practices. This unique combination helps you understand both theoretical and practical techniques for treating partners of sex addicts.
This course is a remote, self-paced training program. This flexibility allows you to work through the material at your own pace. You can complete the Partner Recovery Training anywhere you have access to a DVD player. Also, we allow you to go through your supervision for our training programs simultaneously. If you are taking multiple AASAT training programs, this saves you time and money by allowing you to complete all of the coursework requirements and then complete the supervision requirements simultaneously.
The Partners Recovery Training also counts toward 31 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and you receive a certificate of completion after completing the coursework.
